meet the creator

Hi, I’m Zeynep Lara Koçak, a New Media and Communication student and the creator of One Minute Before.

I’m interested in the small moments that quietly reshape our lives — the decisions, thoughts, and seconds that come right before everything shifts.

Through this project, I collect real experiences and transform them into short animated stories to make those moments visible.

As a storyteller working with digital media and animation, I’m curious about how a single minute can hold emotions, tension, and change.

Because sometimes an entire life can shift in just sixty seconds.
